About
A recent BGS graduate from Texas State University and the General Assembly UXUI Immersive Boot Camp, I come with a lifetime of varied experiences which have shaped me to be flexible and understanding while defining and building my best qualities.
My time in the General Assembly boot camp uncovered my natural inclination towards research, information architecture, and a love of synthesizing data to create research driven design. I found success in the boot camp thanks to my excellent time management, ability to quickly learn new tools, and easy camaraderie with diverse peers.
I have been in interdepartmental positions which revealed that I am skilled at communicating ideas across different communication styles.
My time spent in management positions helped to build my skills at delegating, running meetings, maintaining group focus, setting and achieving goals, record management, and my natural ability to build up peers.
In every new environment, I learn something new about myself and how to work best with those around me.
Organized
Information architecture comes naturally to me. I love finding ways to use organization to decrease cognitive load and increase understanding.
Concise
A trait not natural to me, I’ve been honing my ability to convey messages with little fluff.
Creative
Artistically inclined, I enjoy dreaming up solutions that are outside the box.
Open to Critique
I don’t take criticism personally, I enjoy getting feedback and always look for ways to improve.
